Nature Fresh Farms started in 1999 with a greenhouse construction project led by a mechanical engineer named Peter Quiring. Peter wanted to build a state-of-the-art greenhouse operation to sell to farmers. But instead of finding buyers, he found his calling. He fell in love with the whole process of growing—from seed to fork.
He kept improving; he kept innovating. He hired a team of the smartest people he could find and they started growing—growing in size and growing good food. Their hard work made us the organization we are today. Nature Fresh Farms has grown to become one of the largest independent greenhouse produce growers in Canada.
