CASA Mental Health is an established non-profit organization delivering holistic, culturally-safe wrap-around mental health services to Albertans and their families. CASA provides mental health service to the missing middle – mental health treatment for diagnosed children and youth, in between prevention and promotion in primary and community care, and acute treatment in hospital. Kids Without Limits strives to provide the support families need to succeed

Kids Without Limits is a locally owned and operated respite agency in the Greater Edmonton area. We support parents and guardians of children with autism and/or other developmental delays, by coordinating temporary relief and the opportunity to take a break from the demands of daily care of their loved ones. We are dedicated to providing enriching and engaging experiences for children, as well as the opportunity to relax and recharge for parents. We understand the adversities that families experience when caring for special needs, and that’s why respite is our heart and soul. As the parent or guardian, you can have peace of mind knowing that your child is in the caring hands of our experienced, qualified respite team.

Programs

Kids Without Limits schedules and coordinates respite services for both level 1 and level 2 children from ages 3 – 18. Our agency will connect you with one of our qualified respite workers. All of our team members are specifically trained to provide fun and engaging experiences for the children, such as planning and leading age-appropriate activities. Respite is intended for parents/guardians to receive caregiver relief so they can have time to take care of their own personal needs, visit with friends, spend quality time with their other children/family members, etc. We offer direct billing to FSCD, as well as Fee for Service.

The Edmonton Epilepsy Association is a registered charity and has been providing services for its members since 1960 in the Edmonton and northern Alberta region. The objective of the Edmonton Epilepsy Association is to promote, in any way possible, an improved quality of life for persons with epilepsy. Northern Nursing Solutions is an Indigenous Owned and operated, woman-led travel nursing agency with assignments from coast to coast. We aim to bridge the gaps in indigenous healthcare by providing culturally safe and aware staff for each travel assignment and for a variety of medical professions. Although Northern Nursing Solutions has been open since 2017, we incorporated it in 2021 to meet our clients growing needs. NNS supports and promotes Indigenous access to quality healthcare across North America. A recent study, done in January 2022, states, “First Nations patients were less likely to be prioritized … at emergency departments in Alberta”. With that being said, cultural competency is our number one goal. We promote this by ensuring that all of our staff have a cultural awareness training.
