MARKETING COORDINATOR

Full Time, 9am – 5pm (Monday – Friday). Salary: $17hr. Training Hours: 10am – 5pm (Probation Period)

The position requires a flexible aptitude to handle a variety of roles and responsibilities. Ideal candidates will have go-getter attitudes, be creative, detail-oriented, deadline-driven and have a willingness to take ownership of projects from start to finish.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Digital marketing campaigns and Job Fairs/ exhibition management / logistics
  • Social Media strategy and engagement (like, follow, comments, post, research, etc.)
  • Email searches (Exhibitors, partners, etc.) through different online platforms
  • Manage all social media accounts for consistent branding and content management/curation.
  • Identifies strategies to boost posts and increase our social media presence and ROI and schedules content and/or create content daily (job postings, events, companies’ postings, etc.)
  • Material development (Flyer, Magazine, Brochures, Presentations, etc.)
  • Website improvement projects (SEO, Content, resume access, registration, resources, etc.)
  • Online advertisement management (major websites, general advertisements, etc.)
  • Actively contributing new ideas that will help push our marketing strategies and success forward.
  • Understanding Jobs Canada services, customer audiences and objectives to strategize ways to target and increase lead generation through marketing, advertising and other methods.
  • Developing, implementing and maintaining online resources (websites, social medias, online magazine, newsletter, blogs, job posting, major websites, general advertisements, etc.).
  • Ensure Jobs Canada is keeping up with the advancing marketing trends, and needs of the industry by researching competitors, performing industry-related research, finding opportunities for marketing growth and saturation.
  • Daily task reporting to evaluate work development, multitasking management skills, deadline compliance, and city priority guidelines through marketing steps implanted.
  • Providing consistent suggestions and solutions based on goals and marketing team objectives.
  • Working within given timelines, deadlines and marketing priorities per city and date
  • Being accountable for the success of projects & assigned cities all the way through to completion.
  • Proofing and editing marketing tools/platforms for quality, accuracy, and consistency.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing (Flyer updates, social medias, email search, etc.)
  • Self-motivated and superb organization skills. An eye for detail and creativity.
  • Team work and management skills is an asset. Ability to work with small Team.
  • Must be a fast learner and problem solver and respond positively to feedback.
  • Exceptional writing skills; excellent communication skills and proofreading abilities.
  • Ability work under pressure and manage workloads effectively (home, office and while traveling)
  • Must be very flexible and available to travel across Canada and working sometimes from home.
  • Excellent internet skills (client email search, general advertisements, major websites, etc)
  • Excellent social media skills (like, invite, share and promote events on social medias)
  • Excellent phone skills (making calls, multiple task phone management, answering calls)


PROJECT COORDINATOR

Full Time, 9am – 5pm (Monday – Friday). Salary: $17hr. Training Hours: 10am – 5pm (Probation Period)

The position requires a flexible aptitude to handle a variety of roles and responsibilities. The Ideal Candidate will work to assist Manager in organizing ongoing projects. This task involves monitoring project plans, deadlines, traveling hours, Job Fairs, and expenditures, ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner. The candidates will have go-getter attitudes, be creative, detail-oriented, deadline-driven and have a willingness to take ownership of projects from start to finish.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from morning briefings.
  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for different departments
  • Ensuring project accounting, marketing and administration deadlines are met.
  • Determining project changes and providing administrative support as needed.
  • Undertaking project tasks as required. Developing project strategies.
  • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project (accounting, marketing and administration)
  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
  • Chair and facilitate traveling where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members. Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
  • Job Fair Coordination (Hotels, Logistics, Advertisement, Exhibitors, Job Seekers, etc)

ACCOUNTING COORDINATOR

Administration – Bookkeeping – Customer Service – Finance reporting.
Full time position. 10am-5pm. Mondays-Friday.
$17 per hour.

Account Coordinator responsibilities include reviewing and reconciling accounts, processing payments to external partners and maintaining updated records of invoices and receipts.The main role of an accounting coordinator is to act as support for the accounting department of Jobs Canada. The daily activities include answering the telephone, filing, billing, customer services, bookkeeping, client coordination, calculating billing statements, preparing and submitting tax forms, compiling financial records, managing inventory records, etc.


Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle confidential and sensitive issues and information
  • Manage obligations to suppliers, customers and third-party vendors
  • Process bank deposits, Registration Forms, Inbound and outbound phone calls
  • Reconcile corporate financial statements on regular basis.
  • Prepare, send and store invoices to exhibitors, hotels and third-party vendors
  • Contact clients and send reminders to ensure timely payments
  • Identify and address accounting or discrepancies
  • Report on the status of accounts payable and receivable
  • Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets
  • Administers accounts by preparing journal and ledger entries.
  • Prepare a wide variety of correspondence in the form of emails, reports and templates.
  • Answer registration inquiries and direct calls accordingly to various departments.
  • Collaborate with other employees to complete work/projects as assigned.
  • Verify payment information (payee, address, invoice amount).
    Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct.
  • Sorting out incoming and outgoing daily post and answering any queries.
  • Managing petty cash transactions. Preparing statutory accounts.
  • Controlling credit and chasing debt. Reconciling finance accounts and direct debits.

Skills and qualifications:
